This past Saturday, our talented fighters from Geminos Dojo showcased extraordinary skill, strength, and the true spirit of Kyokushin Karate at the 32nd Annual American International Karate Championships in the US. Their performances left a lasting impact, with some impressive wins against challenging opponents. Here’s a breakdown of their achievements:
🥇 Adam Gavrilov: Double Champion! Adam secured a historic achievement by clinching 1st Place in both KATA and KUMITE. Facing off in divisions of 6 strong participants each, his path to victory was no easy feat.
KATA: Adam’s flawless technique was undeniable as he competed against three brown belts and two green belts. His performance was powerful, sharp, and filled with confidence – leaving no room for his opponents to outshine him.
KUMITE: Adam’s KUMITE division was fiercely competitive, with one brown belt among his challengers. Displaying tactical mastery, he concluded his first two fights with decisive KOs, using a devastating Low Kick (Mawashi Geri Gedan) to overpower his opponents.
Adam’s double victory is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to his hard work, dedication, and strength! 🥇🥇
