The Breaking Seminar 2025 brought together Kyokushin practitioners from both the Bradford and Vaughan Dojos for an intensive and educational session focused on the art of breaking. This seminar provided students with a deeper understanding of the discipline, technique, and mental focus required in Kyokushin breaking techniques.
📖 Technical Instruction: Participants received expert guidance on the fundamentals of breaking, including proper striking angles, breathing techniques, and focus control.
🏋️ Hands-On Training: Attendees had the opportunity to apply what they learned by breaking boards and demonstrating their power and precision.
🤝 Spirit and Camaraderie: The event fostered a strong sense of unity between the two Dojos, strengthening the Kyokushin community and encouraging the spirit of Osu!
🥋 Instructor Demonstrations: Senior instructors, including Senpai Dany Krief from IFK Canada, showcased advanced breaking techniques, inspiring students to push their limits.
Students from both locations embraced the challenge with determination and enthusiasm. The breaking exercises tested their technical skills, mental resilience, and physical strength—key elements of Kyokushin Karate. Many overcame personal barriers, breaking their first boards and achieving new milestones in their training journey.
The Breaking Seminar 2025 was a resounding success, reinforcing the foundational principles of Kyokushin Karate. Both the Bradford and Vaughan Dojos demonstrated exceptional spirit, and the collaboration between the two schools strengthened the bond within the Kyokushin community.
